The jigsaw activity we did in class really helped to clarify a lot about the chapter readings. When I was reading chapter 1, I felt like I didn't understand what it was about. I realized I needed to read to comprehend so I felt the best way to tie my head around everything was by creating a map or a web about the different approaches.
I feel that ESL students would also benefit from this mapping or webbing strategy, because it categorizes things and puts them into perspective.
